A shooting in Orlando last night left at least one person dead and several others injured.

Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of ​​Ironwedge Drive and South Lake Orlando Parkway on Wednesday around 11 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found several victims, one of whom was dead. Officials have not confirmed the total number of victims or the extent of their injuries.

No information is being provided about possible suspects at this time.

Footage of WFTV showed a heavy police presence near Ironwedge Drive and South Lake Orlando Parkway late Wednesday night.

The shooting took place in a residential area near what appears to be an apartment complex.

Several police cruisers were stationed near the intersection and a cordon was placed as authorities conducted their investigation.

Officers from Orlando’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit were also called to the scene.

A police spokesperson told DailyMail.com: ‘We are working to identify all victims and their conditions. This is an ongoing investigation. As soon as we have more information, we will make it available.”
