Talks are still ongoing, although it is unclear when an agreement could be finalized at this stage of negotiations.
If a deal is struck in the near future, sources claim The Eagles could make their Sphere debut in late November.
It was also said that the residency would last “a few months”, although it is unclear whether it would last as long as U2’s residency.

U2 debuted at The Sphere on September 29, and the residency was initially set to run until December 2023, with 25 shows.
Due to incredibly popular demand, the residency has added 15 additional shows for a total of 40 shows, with the show wrapping up next weekend on March 2nd.
The first 25 shows in 2023 brought in a whopping $159.8 million in ticket revenue from 413,000 tickets sold.
In between U2 shows, The Sphere will be showing a unique film entitled Postcards From Earth from director Darren Aronofsky, which takes advantage of the unique arena’s 270 degree viewing area for a unique viewing experience.
As for The Eagles, the beloved rock group announced in July 2023 that they would be embarking on their final tour, called The Long Goodbye Tour.
The tour kicked off in late September 2023 at New York City’s famed arena, Madison Square Garden, with the twelve-date concert in St. Paul, Minnesota in mid-November.
The group hasn’t released an album since 2007’s Long Road out of Eden, although it appears this will likely be their last.
When asked whether or not the group would record a follow-up to that album, bassist/vocalist Timothy B. Schmit revealed why they probably wouldn’t.

‘I sincerely doubt it. We toured behind our last album, and put in five to seven of those numbers,” he said.
“But we don’t do them anymore because there wasn’t a big response. When people come to the Eagles, they want to hear ‘Best Of My Love’, ‘One Of These Nights’ and all this stuff. So we give it to them,” he admitted.
The Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and are one of the best-selling bands in the world with more than 200 million records sold worldwide.
Their list of accolades includes five #1 singles, six #1 albums, six Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards.
