College basketball game in Indiana is EVACUATED as fire alarm bizarrely sounds at Assembly Hall… with the venue left completely empty before fans return after all-clear

A college basketball game between Indiana University and the University of Wisconsin was briefly halted when a fire alarm sounded at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana.

When the game was tied at 54-54 around the ten minute mark, the alarm sounded and fans were asked to evacuate the arena.

After the teams were off the ground for a short period of time and the arena was nearly empty, the Bloomington Fire Department and IU Campus Police were able to clear the facility so people could return.

“The Bloomington Fire Department has issued an all clear following the activation of a fire alarm at Skojdt Assembly Hall this evening,” IU police said in a tweet. “Fans can enter the building safely.”

With that, the fans entered the building again and play eventually resumed after a short warm-up period.
