Pokémon Legends ZA officially announced for release in 2025
Well, I can’t say I saw this one coming. Pokémon Legends SA has been officially revealed as the next game in the Pokémon Legends series, and will be released worldwide on Nintendo Switch in 2025.
The news was revealed during today’s (February 27) Pokémon Day Pokémon Presents stream, and while announcing the new Pokémon TCG pocket mobile app is definitely fantastic for fans of the trading card game, Legends SA was by far the most exciting reveal of the bunch.
The cinematic trailer shown at the event teased an “urban redevelopment plan” for the Paris-inspired Lumiose City in the Kalos region, which was introduced in the Generation 6 games. Pokemon And Y. It also teased that the popular Mega Evolution mechanic is back. You can look below.
Admittedly, we didn’t get much information about what here Pokémon Legends SA will be approx. Pokémon legends Arceus was the first game to use the ‘Legends‘ subtitle and took players back in time to a historical version of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, And Platinum‘s Sinnoh region. If Pokémon Legends SA does the same and takes us back in time, it already has plenty of potential material to work with, as it was previously revealed that a war took place 3000 years before the 2013 Games, Pokemon And Y.
However, at this time it is not clear whether Pokémon Legends SA will take place in the past at all, so this is pure speculation. Either way, it’s exciting news for fans of the Generation 6 games X And Yas Kalos is one of the few regions that never received a third version (like Crystal, Emerald, And Platinum). Therefore, we can be sure that there will be many more interesting Kalos stories to discover when the game releases next year.
