Paralowie, Adelaide stabbing: Young man, 23, dies in hospital after allegedly vicious attack as a 27-year-old man is arrested

A young man has died after allegedly being stabbed by another man who has been arrested and expected to be charged with murder.

Emergency services were called to Henry St in Paralowie, North Adelaide, about 7am on Tuesday to reports of a stabbing.

There they found a 23-year-old man with serious injuries and rushed him to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Police arrested a 27-year-old man from Sheidow Park at a house in Trott Park, in the city’s south, at around 9.45am.

SA Police Chief Inspector Julie Thomas said the man is expected to be charged with murder as investigations continue into the motive behind the alleged attack.

No one else was injured during the alleged attack and police are not “looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.”
