Fernandes protested full-time, together with boss Erik Ten Hag
Together with coach Erik Ten Hag, Fernandes appeared to argue with Oliver about some of his decisions on the pitch.
Things were looking good for the Red Devils with the side in red-hot form, although any signs of recovery were trampled by a vibrant Fulham.
Erik ten Hag’s side were on a run of six wins and a draw from seven games in 2024, but that came to an end with Fulham’s first Premier League victory here in seventeen attempts, dating back to 2003.
This was also the Londoners’ first away win in the competition since the opening day of the season, after Alex Iwobi fired a dramatic winner in the seventh minute of stoppage time.
