Woman defended after outing brother-in-law’s unfaithful ways to her friends he tried to date after he cheated on his wife who had CANCER before getting dumped by his mistress for sleeping with even more people
A woman asks Reddit users if she’s an asshole for calling her cheating brother-in-law during a party at her house on February 17.
Created the original poster (OP). a post this morning, writing that her in-laws are “currently furious” that she hurt her brother-in-law’s feelings at the party.
She wrote that her 38-year-old brother-in-law, who she called Chris, hinted at her to introduce him to women, but the OP refused.
“Chris has been single for almost three years and he’s having trouble meeting women,” the OP wrote.
Previously, Chris had a history of cheating with the many women he had relationships with: his ex-wife, who was dying of pancreatic cancer, and his mistresses.

Chris had a history of cheating with the many women he had relationships with: his ex-wife, who was dying of pancreatic cancer, and his mistresses.
The party started off on a low note last Saturday for Chris, who had been flirting with the OP’s girlfriend, who she called Grace, 38.
According to the protective sister-in-law, Grace was not interested in Chris “due to his inability to be faithful” and was not physically attracted to him.
Chris didn’t take the hint about Grace’s disinterest, and after Grace told him that “his physical ugliness is surpassed only by the ugliness of his character,” he left the party.
The OP wrote that Grace “verbally tore him apart” and discussed Chris’s infidelity towards his ex-wife.
“Grace reminded him that he cheated and divorced his late ex-wife ‘Lily’ while she was battling cancer, and then got dumped by the mistress for being a cheater as he continued to cheat on her,” the OP wrote .
“Grace told him that he was not a man of any significant worth, apart from the few coins he had in the bank, and that it was impossible that she would entertain his delusions of sexual grandeur and beauty.”
The sister-in-law’s aggravated friend then told him to consider “some cosmetic work” and “start praying for divine intervention to fix his rotten soul.”
The OP’s in-laws and Chris are not happy that she told her friends about his actions and that her friends consider him “a terrible person.”

Grace ‘verbally tore up’ Chris over what he did to his late wife. According to the OP, Chris verbally and emotionally abused Lily during her battle with cancer and during their divorce
“I told them that unfortunately he was a terrible person and that people would always find out what happened between him and the late, wonderful Lily,” she wrote.
In addition to Chris and the in-laws, she revealed that a female colleague was also unhappy with her decision to discuss her brother-in-law’s actions.
“She said I was cruel for telling my group of friends about what happened between Chris and his ex-wife because Chris had grown a lot in the last two years and didn’t need to be known for being the worst thing he ever has done. ‘, the OP wrote.
The colleague, who she called Natasha in the post, is currently dating one of Chris’ friends.
After telling the whole story to just six people, the OP wonders if she was right when she discussed Chris and his failed relationships.
More than 1,000 Reddit users commented on the post, many of them writing that the OP is not the a**hole (NTA).
Reddit users commented on the post, letting the OP know that they don’t think she’s the asshole in this situation
One commenter called the Reddit post “a public service announcement” and some users have credited the OP as a good friend.
“NTA sounds like you did the right thing and protected your friends, he can go somewhere else,” one user commented.
‘It’s like a job, if you introduce a friend and recommend him for the job, your reputation is at stake, and the same here, your friends would never look at you the same way again if you call them a cheat in any form therefore recommends. ‘
Others have shown their love for Grace, with one user even calling Chris “a warts toad.”
‘I love Grace already! “Chris is in no position to complain about gossip as he went to his parents crying,” one person commented.
“But in the future, you probably shouldn’t invite him to events where he might hit on your female guests and ruin their evening.” N.T.A.’
