Ariana Grande wows in floral poppy minidress from Oscar de la Renta… as star readies to drop new album Eternal Sunshine

Ariana Grande took to her Instagram page to continue her two-pronged promotional campaign for her highly anticipated seventh studio album. Eternal sunshineand her upcoming new film Wicked.

In an Instagram post Thursday night, Oscar de la Renta gave fans a sneak peek at how to make a colorful floral mini dress for Grande, in a post that featured both the “#WickedMovie” and the superstar “@arianagrande,” who plays Glinda in the movie, tagged. upcoming musical fantasy film releasing in November.

Moments later, the pop princess herself took to her own Instagram page to strike a few poses in the finished version of the sheer mini dress that comes complete with blooming poppies, in a nod to the Land Of Oz, and several shades of red, pink and white.

Beneath the large fake flowers were giant pieces of green fabric meant to resemble plant leaves.

In another nod to Oz, stylists completed Grande’s look by donning her version of ruby ​​slippers with a pair of red pumps as she posed next to a trailer that appeared to be on the movie set.

Channeling her character, Glinda The Good Witch, the Thank U, Next star wore her blonde hair in a half-up style as she accentuated her features with glossy pink lips and full lashes.

While it’s not known exactly where she wore this look, Oscar de la Renta did share that it was “for the #WickedMovie global press tour” in an Instagram post that showed the starlet wearing the striking floral number.

“Swipe to see the magic of the #odlratelier as poppies are placed and sewn for @arianagrande #WickedMovie #odlrspring2024,” read the caption of three photo posts showing the mini dress in various stages of its creation.

One of the photos captured three of the designers working their magic while arranging the floral designs.

Grande also struck a different pose in the minidress, with her head slightly to the left as she leaned her left arm on her slim waist.

Other photos in the carousel included shots of her dog, one of herself running around an empty room dressed in red tights and a black puffer coat, and FaceTime calls with director Jon M. Chu, who helms Wicked.

There’s also a video of Grande getting playful with her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo at the recent Super Bowl LVIII, where they both wore custom sequined Louis Vuitton jackets.

Less than half a day later, on Friday, the Rain On me singer returned to Instagram and went into promo mode for Eternal sunshine, which will mark her first new body of work since releasing Positions (2020).

In the caption, she reminded her 380 million fans and followers that there are only “two weeks” left before the album’s release.

Yeah so? was released on January 12 as the album’s lead single and shot straight to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking her eighth number-one single in the US during her storied career.

Grande described her new music as “a kind of concept album” with “several amplified pieces of the same story, of the same experience,” according to several publications such as Number.
