Latest Baldur’s Gate 3 hotfix fixes ‘misaligned’ kisses for Minthara and Lae’zel
Larian is back with a new hotfix for Baldur’s Gate 3, addressing major issues such as dialogue interruptions, several instances of crashing and, crucially, kiss-fixing involving two more characters.
Undoubtedly the most striking point in the patch notes discusses some kissing scenes with party members Minthara and Lae’zel that “were not well aligned”. It’s a welcome change for those who opt for a more evil game and decide to recruit Minthara or who mainly play as Lae’zel.
This is not all that the hotfix has to offer Baldur’s Gate 3, Naturally. A range of fixes have addressed crashes that occur in certain areas or involve tricks with spells or hotbars. Also fixed some cases where dialogue would be interrupted before the end of a sentence.
Additionally, a number of Xbox-specific bugs have been fixed. One fixes incorrect user and controller assignments, while the other fixes issues where multiplayer invites are “not handled correctly in some cases.”
The full hotfix notes are as follows:
- Fixed a number of conditions where items in Tactician mode were not removed when changing to an easier difficulty.
- Fixed user/controller assignments on Xbox being wrong in some cases.
- Fixed multiplayer invites on Xbox not being handled correctly in some cases.
- Fixed a number of lines being broken in the dialogue with the Flaming Fists trying to invade Waukeen’s Rest and in the dialogue with the talking door in Aunt Ethel’s lair.

- Fixed a crash during Minthara’s turn during combat in the Emerald Grove.

- Fixed a crash when selecting a spell with Metamagic active while also having a filter enabled in the hotbar.
