EXCLUSIVE: MAFS’ Jack Dunkley’s ex-girlfriend Courtney confirms she was invited to crash the show’s reunion – after being asked to attend as another groom’s plus one
Daily Mail Australia can reveal there were plans for Jack Dunkley’s ex-girlfriend Courtney Jade to appear on the new season of Married At First Sight.
According to a well-placed source, another groom entered Courtney’s Instagram messages in late October in an attempt to convince her to come to the show’s reunion.
“Another groom desperately tried to catch Jack off guard and spent weeks trying to get the cast to convince Courtney to crash the dinner,” the insider revealed.
“They loved the idea of throwing Jack away and wanted him to go down.”
“Several cast members, including Mike Felix, were also instrumental in trying to get her to appear on the show, but she was having none of it,” she added.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, Courtney confirmed she was approached by several people with offers but wanted nothing to do with the show.
“I wish I did (crash the reunion) after I found out he downplayed our relationship and has no respect for me,” she said Wednesday.
“But I don’t want anything to do with that show either, so I stayed out of it. That’s all I have to say.’

The news comes just days after Courtney moved to ssocial media to share “very private” photos of her with Jack.
The photos, shared to her Instagram stories, show a closeness that contradicts Jack’s recent claims about the nature of their relationship.
One of the images shows an apparently intimate moment, with Courtney sitting on Jack’s lap as he cradles her in his arms.

Another snapshot captures the duo at the Gold Coast Airport, a memory that Courtney says was captured just a week before Jack reportedly called it quits, alongside the caption: “Is he looking at Tori this way?”
“I don’t deserve to be portrayed as who I am,” Courtney wrote.
“For something as meaningful as nothing to be ignored… All I can do now is put on my armor and fight a battle I never wanted.”

Jack, who is ‘married’ to bride Tori Adams, denied speculation that he had given up on his serious relationship, stating their romance was strictly casual and describing his ex as ‘a bit crazy’.
This photo evidence throws a wrench into Jack’s story that his relationship with Courtney was nothing serious, and paints a picture of a bond that seemed anything but casual.
It comes after Courtney told Daily Mail Australia she was sad as his ‘wedding’ played out on national television.
“I don’t deserve to be portrayed as who I am,” Courtney began. “For something as meaningful as nothing to be ignored… All I can do now is put on my armor and fight a battle I never wanted.”

‘It has been a very difficult time in my life. One that I wouldn’t wish on anyone,” she said earlier this month.
‘I hope this doesn’t keep happening to other people. It was a horrible experience and not something I want to talk about.”
She said she is heartbroken that Jack is going to air dirty laundry about their breakup on the show.
“I hope everyone gets some sickening entertainment from my awful breakup on Channel Nine,” she said.
“I have no comment regarding MAFS so I would appreciate it if the media and all forms of communication would leave me alone.”
She also revealed her ongoing personal struggles following their bitter split, revealing that she was forced to take medication and regularly visit a psychologist.

“I have been seeing a therapist and receiving medication for the disgusting trauma I have experienced, and I would like to be left alone to heal,” she said.
Courtney explained that the fact that their breakup will be so public has made things a lot harder to process.
“It’s one thing to go through a breakup, but it’s another to have to relive it on national television and talk about it,” she added.
“Enjoy watching the fame hungry people ruin lives and cause nothing but pain. I am ashamed of the world we live in and absolutely shocked by my experience.”

Questioning the show’s premise, she asked, “Create love or create monsters?” before invoking respect for her privacy.
In August, Courtney revealed that Jack split with her right before he went on the show.
‘Break up with me after I met his family and he told me he loves me. Tells me it’s only for (an) ’employment in America’ to find out he’s on MAFS in Sydney,” Courtney wrote on The Wash’s Instagram photos.
Things were serious between the duo, with Courtney even selling furniture as they planned to move in together.
Jack is said to have previously been engaged to another woman.
