MAFS’ Jack breaks his silence on THAT ‘muzzle’ comment made at explosive dinner party

Jack Dunkley has finally broken his silence on the controversial comment he made on Wednesday night’s episode of Married At First Sight.

During the explosive dinner episode episode, the 34-year-old personal trainer left the other couples and viewers alike completely stunned when he told Jonathan McCullough to ‘muzzle’ his wife Lauren Dunn.

Now Jack has admitted he felt ‘instant remorse’ after the vile insult.

“I was obviously disgusted, at that point I was a bit of a broken man and everyone has a breaking point,” he said 9Entertainment.

“To Lauren’s credit, she kept swearing and got me to do it.”

However, Jack revealed he had to ‘stand up’ on behalf of him and his bride Tori Adams after their relationship was in the line of fire.

But he admitted he wished he had approached the subject more maturely.

‘The first thought I had was, “What are my parents going to think? What are my sisters going to think?” “I was quite embarrassed,” he added, revealing that he apologized to Lauren after the act.

Jack’s ‘sexist’ comment came during a blazing row when Lauren, 32, confronted him about ‘disrespectful’ comments he made to Jono about his wife Tori.

Lauren revealed how Jack told her husband Jono that he would give another groom ‘permission’ to sleep with Tori ‘because he’s not attracted to her’, which led to Jack’s outrageous outburst.

The drama first started when Lauren revealed that Jack had made a shocking comment about Tori during a conversation with Jono at the gym, leaving her completely outraged on her friend’s behalf.

She explained how Jack said, “If there’s a couple swap situation, the guys have permission to sleep with his wife because he doesn’t want to because he’s not attracted to her.”

Last year, MAFS introduced the controversial ‘partner swap’ experiment, where participants swapped partners and shared a bed together for a weekend.

The shocking revelation sparked a huge row around the dinner table and 'villain' Jack shocked the group when he told Jono to 'muzzle' his wife Lauren.

During the dinner, Lauren and some other brides pulled Tori aside to make her aware of what Jack had said, which made her look downtrodden and angry.

Lauren shared, “Jack told the guys something at the gym, he said, ‘If we’re at couples swap week and we haven’t slept together, you can sleep with her.’

Jack has previously said that he is not “sexually” attracted to his bride Tori, and Lauren brought the comments to Tori’s attention when she shared her disapproval.

Lauren told Tori, “Jack told the boys that we don’t sleep together because we’re not attracted to each other.”

Speaking to the camera, she added: ‘She’s upset and she looked upset. That’s the last thing I wanted to do, but Jack has to be put in the line of fire without any wiggle room.”

Jack watched and saw that Tori was upset. He admitted he didn’t ‘trust’ anyone and accused Lauren of ‘looking for drama’ before dramatically confronting her in front of the group.

Since Tori looked very uncomfortable, Jack turned to Lauren and asked, “I’m asking you what you said to my wife.”

Lauren questioned him about the partner swap comment, with Jack claiming he had only said it as a joke, despite saying it was ‘inappropriate’ to repeat at dinner.

Jono didn’t seem convinced as he said, “It’s a weird joke to say, I didn’t take it as a joke.”

While Sara argued: ‘The fact that you can’t even say it at the table should make it clear that it’s not a joke.’

When Lucinda heard the comment, she said angrily, “That kind of talk is disrespectful and demeaning.”

The entire group quickly turned on him and voiced their disapproval of the shocking comment, as jaws dropped around the table.

Trying to defend himself, Jack argued, “Anything I would say to Jono, I would say in front of Tori, and she would say it right back.”

Tori supported Jack, insisting: “If Jack says it was a joke, I’ll take it as a joke, I trust him.”

“Jack and I joke about really crazy things that aren’t meant for anyone else,” she added.

Jack subsequently denied ever saying he wasn’t attracted to Tori, despite previously saying at a workshop that he wasn’t “sexually attracted to her.”

Timothy said to the camera, “I heard that comment, he’s just deflecting and he’s not telling anyone the truth.”

While Jono said to Jack: ‘You said ‘we don’t have a sexual spark’. You’re a sexual man.’

Jack was furious that Jono had ‘broken the bro code’ by telling his wife Lauren what had been said, as things around the table became very tense.

As Jack tried to talk to Jono, Lauren argued with him, prompting Jack to shout shockingly, “I’m not talking to you Lauren, shut up!” Can you muzzle your wife?’

The whole table went into chaos after the shocking comment when Jono was angry: “Don’t fucking talk to her like that!”

Tristan said to the camera: “That’s not cool, my mom would hit me if I ever said that to a woman.”

While Lucinda added: ‘Not funny, not appropriate, not now, not ever, for anyone.’

Jack doubled down on his comment and continued, “She needs it! She needs it!’

“I can’t get a word out because you won’t shut up,” he added.

Lauren fumed, “Tell me to put a muzzle on again, I’ll fucking show you who needs a muzzle.”

“I’ve had enough of you, thank you very much,” Jack said.

The dinner party descended into further chaos when Tori walked out after the blazing argument, with the brides trying to convince her that Jack’s comments about her were “disrespectful.”

Back at the table, Tori shared her disapproval with best friend Lauren for bringing it up at dinner, insisting she text her if she was really concerned.

Tori insisted, “Lauren, Lauren, this could be so polite,” claiming that Lauren hadn’t understood her dark humor despite them being good friends.

‘It looked like a circus performance. My best friend fights my husband. I’m just really over it,” Tori said to the camera.

‘I don’t know what to do. Jack said it was a joke, I don’t know who to believe.’
