See the cosy speakeasy hiding behind an unassuming bookcase in a Sydney street
A small, unassuming shop that looks like a small library hides an exciting secret behind the built-in bookcase.
Foodies flock to the hidden, aptly named Beyond the Bookcase bar, tucked behind a simple blue shelf.
A door handle is disguised as a book and when pulled, the plank peels back to reveal a chic speakeasy with extravagant cocktails and delicious food.
Located in the vibrant inner-city suburb of Surry Hills, Beyond the Bookcase offers guests a cozy retreat from the busy streets.
Upon entering, visitors are greeted with a modern and old-world space with exposed dark wood ceiling beams, dimly lit chandeliers and exposed brick walls.
