PowerWash Simulator’s upcoming Warhammer 40,000-themed DLC will be available next week
PowerWash Simulator has a new DLC on the way, and this time players will be tasked with cleaning up the grim universe Warhammer 40,000.
The upcoming DLC will soon be available for players to try out for themselves as it releases next week on February 27, 2024 for PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It’ll also be a paid DLC, so you’ll have to pay $7.99/£6.50 if you want to join in on all the fun. We first heard from A Warhammer 40,000 DLC for PowerWash Simulator when the roadmap for the second half of 2023 was announced in mid-2023.
The trailer release date was shown at IGN Fan Fest 2024 and features several shots of a grimy and gothic war room full of battle-hardened weapons and Imperial engines, which are absolutely filthy. “The machine ghosts long for reawakening,” the trailer states. “Formed in the likeness of the Iron Purity, it is an honor to serve these triumphant ships.”
Players can also trade in the usual washing tools for the Mark 2 Aqua Santica Arquabus. While this tool may sound quite menacing, it will work exactly the same as standard power washing equipment, albeit with a more luxurious design.
Warhammer 40,000 is a new addition to the ever-growing selection of strange DLC locations. Previously, players could enjoy a Tomb Raider expansion, which showed the iconic Croft Manor in a new, slightly dirtier light. There have been those too Spongebob Squarepants-theme levels and Back to the future Cards. All of these additions are charmingly funny, but also simple and soothing, and this upcoming DLC looks no different.
