Oporto restaurants are forced to close owing $500,000 to the Australian Tax Office
Two stores in Porto have closed their doors after being breached by the Australian Taxation Office.
The restaurants, in Sydney’s Newtown and Darling Harbour, are run by franchises that went into administration on Friday after the ATO demanded payment of back taxes they owed.
Jevnt Pty Ltd and Pymz Pty Ltd – which run the Newtown and Darling Harbor sites – owe a combined debt of between $400,000 and $500,000.
