‘No! He came to my house yesterday to pick up his kids. There’s no problem with that! To see?! John Obi Mikel is still talking shit to me and I’m still here doing his podcast. I don’t care dude! People can think whatever they want’.
After failing to impress in the Spanish capital in June, Kroos took aim at the Belgian in a stunning podcast appearance.
“We had another player who came for a lot of money and basically let his career die,” he pointed out in his podcast Einfach mal Luppen.
‘It was a lot of money, I think everyone would say it wasn’t a good transfer. But let’s be positive.’
During his four injury-plagued seasons at the Bernabeu, Hazard scored just seven goals in 76 appearances for the Spanish giants.
Hazard’s departure from the Santiago Bernabeu came just a week before Jude Bellingham completed his stunning move to Madrid.
Hazard said of the England star: ‘Wow! What a player. I had a chance to talk to him a bit because we were on the same plane going to the Ballon d’Or gala.
‘I saw him in Dortmund because he played with Thorgan – my brother! He was 18/19 and he was already special’.
Elsewhere in the Hazard podcast has admitted his relationship Jose Mourinho broke down during the manager’s disastrous final season at Chelsea.
Kroos appeared to be referring to the Belgian after he left the Spanish giants in the summer
Mourinho returned to Stamford Bridge for a second time in 2013 and won his third Premier League title with the club two years later, with Hazard playing a starring role for the Blues.
But Chelsea’s title defense went disastrously wrong and Mourinho was sacked in December 2015, leaving the team in 16th place.
“The first two seasons were great,” Hazard said. “Remember the first year, the team was new so it was just the beginning. In Jose’s second season we won the league and won the League Cup.
“Then the third season had some kind of starting problems, we lost games and at the end the relationship was a bit gone.”
