The team wore matching gray tracksuits and black hats, with white towels around their necks and white tape around their hands – just like Balboa looked when he trained for his fights in the films.

Devils players, on the other hand, showed up to work in colorful tracksuits, white T-shirts and with jewelry around their necks that resembled characters from The Sopranos. The iconic series centers on Tony Soprano, a New Jersey gangster.

Devils players Timo Meier and Jesper Bratt even posed for photos while sipping from espresso cups as if drinking outside the iconic Satriale’s Pork Store.

The Devils won the game 6-3.
