Horrifying moment wild fight breaks out before man is allegedly choked and left lying unconscious on the footpath

A horrific video has captured the moment a man was allegedly strangled and left unconscious on the pavement during a vicious late-night attack.

The video, posted to Reddit, appears to show a group of young men and another man wearing a white shirt getting into an argument on York St in Sydney’s CBD.

A young man can be seen pushing the man, who then talks to the group before another man comes behind him and puts his arm around his neck.

The man appears to be in pain and struggling as the other man holds him down.

The group then leaves and the video returns showing the man apparently unconscious on the sidewalk.

‘Just another night in Sydney. I don’t go to the CBD because you see this all the time,” one person wrote on the platform.
