Dani Dyer detailed her surprising connection with an A-list Hollywood star while talking romance, family life and fame on a new comedy podcast: Straight to the comments!

The Love Island star, 27, is the first guest on the new podcast – which launches on Monday, February 19 – which embraces the hilarity and absurdity of the MailOnline comments section with the celebrities in question.

Speaking to presenters Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, Dani was asked about her childhood and revealed she had a very famous babysitter.

The mother-of-three revealed that Oscar nominee Keira Knightley did the honors, but she “had no idea” who Keira was at the time.

Dani explained, “It didn’t take that long; the partner she was with at the time was in one of my father’s films. I was obviously very young and she was just taking care of me.”

Dani continued: ‘I think she did Bend It Like Beckham because I remember looking at her and thinking, “I know who you are.”

‘When we got home from the film set, my mother said, “That’s Kiera Knightley!” and I thought “oh my god”.

When asked what Keira was like as a babysitter, Dani revealed, “she was sweet; it was years and years ago, but she was beautiful!’
