A THIRD red flag for Taylor! Fans slam ‘tone deaf’ Travis Kelce for posing for smiling selfie with KC cop in the wake of deadly shooting… after previously shoving his coach at Super Bowl and appearing too drunk to talk at parade

Travis Kelce has been criticized after smiling for a “tone deaf” selfie with a police officer outside a Kansas City restaurant just hours after the horrific shooting during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade.

Shots rang out Wednesday after Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and their teammates left the stage in front of the city’s Union Station with one dead and 21 injured, including nine children.

Three people are in custody in connection with the incident, including the young man who was knocked to the ground by a heroic group of fans as he tried to flee the scene.

Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas provided an update on the investigation Thursday morning and said he is considering blocking the investigation The Super Bowl victory will parade next year when the Chiefs win again after Wednesday’s horror mass shooting.

But fans are now questioning Kelce’s behavior after a spate of controversial incidents since he took the field in Las Vegas for Sunday’s Super Bowl, where the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.

The latest arrived Wednesday night when a photo surfaced showing Taylor Swift’s boyfriend smiling as he agreed to take a selfie with a police officer.

Kelce, who can be seen with a beer in his hand, smiled as he entered the Granfalloon Restaurant and Bar on Wednesday evening.

According to TMZ he joined other teammates, who were already inside, for dinner, just hours after the chaotic scenes in the city.

Angry fans have taken to social media to accuse the footballer of being ‘tone deaf’ and lacking compassion.

One wrote: ‘There’s a time for everything and that wasn’t the time for a photo.’

Another commented: ‘It doesn’t look good. this is really bad,” while another added that Taylor Swift’s “people” are “sitting with Taylor right now.”

‘I can smell the drink through my phone. He looks really worried,” wrote another.

A statement posted to Kelce’s X account earlier on Wednesday read: “I am heartbroken over the tragedy that occurred today.

‘My heart goes out to everyone who came to celebrate with us and who was affected. KC, you mean the world to me.”

Earlier on Wednesday, a drunken Kelce could barely speak or stand up as he took the stage in front of a million adoring Chiefs fans during the team’s final parade.

Kelce tried to lead a drunken rendition of Garth Brooks’ 1990 country hit “Friends In Low Places” after passing the microphone.

At the beginning of the song, he adapted one of Brooks’ lyrics to take a dig at San Francisco, singing, “Blame it all on my roots, I showed up in boots and ruined the affair of the Niners.”

But after a day of partying in Kansas City, the celebrations seemed to take their toll on Kelce as he struggled to get his words out and finish the rest of the song.

The likes of Mahomes and Chris Jones were even forced to step in at one point and keep him from falling over before ultimately taking the mic from their sleepy teammate.

It came after Chiefs coach Andy Reid admitted the players were told not to have ‘too much fun’ at the parade after Jaylen Watson left last year’s festivities in a wheelchair.

Watson, who was filmed downing a large portion of a Hennessy bottle, was apparently so drunk after the Chiefs’ win over the Eagles that he could no longer walk.

The first ‘red flag’ arrived during the Super Bowl itself when Kelce flew into a fit of anger at Chiefs coach Reid on the sideline.

As Swift watched at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the tight end was furious that he didn’t receive the ball on a play in the early stages of the game.

On his way back to the bench, Kelce got into his 65-year-old coach’s face before being quickly pulled away by a teammate.

As he approached from the side, cameras caught Kelce running toward the coach and bumping into him, temporarily causing him to lose his balance.

Kelce, 34, then grabbed his coach’s arm as he turned towards him and screamed in his face again – before being pulled away by fellow Chiefs player Jerrod McKinnon.

Mayor Lucas provided few new details about the tragedy early Thursday morning, apologizing for the “failure to keep everyone safe” during the family event at a news conference at 6 a.m. Thursday.

“I’m sorry this happened yesterday,” he said.

‘We have worked hard to put on an exceptional parade, we have spent millions on it, but we have failed to keep everyone safe and I feel great guilt about that.’

He added in an interview with CBS that a motive for the massacre remains a mystery, and condemned Missouri’s easy access to firearms because “this is not the way I want to live.”

Lucas condemned the easy access the gunmen had to deadly weapons, citing that there were more than 800 officers stationed at the parade who were powerless to prevent a senseless mass shooting.

“It is clear that some in our community have access to firearms issues,” he said.

“There is a person or persons who intentionally or unintentionally shoot into a crowd and hit almost 20 people. Our officers can deal with it in the blink of an eye, but there is still that level of damage.

“We have to do something about the fact that some of these people can get these weapons in the first place.

“I don’t know what we’re ultimately going to do about it, but we have to find national and local solutions to it.”
