Husband charged with murder after woman is run over by tractor slasher in Queensland

The husband of a woman who died after allegedly being run over by a tractor slasher has been charged with murder.

Emergency services were called to a property on Undullah Road in Woodhill near Beaudesert in south-central Queensland just after 9am on Thursday.

At the scene they found a seriously injured 41-year-old woman.

She died at the scene, despite desperate efforts by emergency services to revive her.

Her husband, 44, has been charged with murder and interference with a corpse.

Photos showed several police vehicles outside the cordoned-off sugar cane farm, where forensic officers spent the day searching for evidence.

A Toyota Yaris was towed away by a tow truck.
