Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Maisie spoke of her excitement about life with Max and dismissed concerns about their 13-year age difference.
She said, “If that wasn’t the case, it would be something else. People don’t understand what goes on behind closed doors in a relationship, and I think they also forget that I’m a consenting 21 year old woman who has actually been working longer than Max!
‘I don’t notice the age difference and neither do my friends and family. My mother Julia is the one who reads all the comments.
‘Yesterday I got a message from her saying: ‘Ignore them, you were made for each other.’
