A photo of a suspected Chicago criminal is going viral on X (formerly Twitter) after he flashed a menacing smile in his mug shot.
Daily Loud posted the mugshot to their X-page yesterday with the caption: “Chicago man’s mugshot goes viral.”
The man, who was wearing a black sweatshirt, smiled as he stared straight into the camera.
The photo has been viewed more than 16 million times and almost 150,000 likes on X.
Daily Loud has not released any information about the suspect and it is unclear whether any charges have been filed for his alleged crime.

X users (formerly Twitter) believe the Chicago criminal in the photo is guilty of everything that landed him in police custody
Chicago’s crime rates have improved over the past decade, but according to… a recent analysiscrimes in that city have become more violent.
There has been a large increase in thefts between 2021 and 2022.
However, Chicagoans already reported 13 percent more crimes between January 1 and August 31, 2023, than in the first eight months of 2022, according to the Illinois Policy Institute.
X users aren’t sure what happened, but what they overwhelmingly seem to believe is that he did what he was accused of.
“Whatever they said he did, HE DID IT,” one X user wrote.
Commenters have even started creating their own memes using his photo.
Others called him “a bad guy” and one user even suggested that the criminal’s evilness is “in his eyes.”
‘It’s the eyes – AND that cruel smile. That’s scary,” one person wrote.
X-users who believe the criminal should be ‘locked up’ have also joked about his photo and made references to Usher and Swizz Beatz.
Their response has been viewed more than 150,000 times.
“#Swizzbeatz after seeing Usher hugging his wife,” one X user wrote.
Others have compared his picture to films like Smile and Dennis the Menace.
