Married At First Sight’s Natalie Parham reveals the last message she sent groom Collins Christian – and his shocking one-word response
Married At First Sight bride Natalie Parham has opened up about the last time she spoke to her groom Collins Christian after the couple left the show.
The 32-year-old physiotherapist from Melbourne sensationally quit the experiment for a second time during Monday’s episode of the reality dating series as she and Collins headed home for good.
Now the bride has revealed the last text she shared with the 28-year-old.
“I did contact him to see how he was doing and how he responded to certain articles that came out. And I got a one-word answer,” Natalie told The Pulse with Seany B and Emma G.
“I was really hoping that this would open up a channel of conversation and he could just ask, ‘Hey, Nat. How are you… How’s your mom doing? I heard she has cancer.’

She continued, “I put the ball in his court and he never took it back. So I was just really sad about that.”
Natalie then revealed the one-word response Collins gave her after she kindly reached out: “Cheers.”
“I wrote this long, well, long message. It was a paragraph where I reached out and said I’m here for him. And I just got the word ‘cheers’ in response,” she added.
Collins and Natalie quickly left the program, returning home less than two days after the final commitment ceremony was filmed.

Sources close to production told Ny Breaking Australia that Natalie was struggling immensely during filming and was missing her family.
“Natalie was homesick after losing her dad and just wanted to get away,” an insider revealed.
‘Collins was only trying her best and Natalie couldn’t handle it.
“Nat finally reached boiling point and production agreed to let her go home.”
According to the spy, the pair ended on “bad terms” and things don’t get much better at the reunion as they argue on camera.
“Collins is still hateful and continues to blame her for robbing him of his opportunities,” the source said.
Ny Breaking Australia spotted Natalie storming out of the Skye Suites with her suitcase before heading to the airport on August 17
‘It got very annoying very quickly and they both went their separate ways.
‘Collins didn’t even want to be friends with Natalie after that, it’s really sh***y.’
According to friends, Natalie always felt like Collins was putting on a performance for the cameras and was a completely different person when the cameras weren’t rolling.
The decision to have Natalie leave came despite Collins’ choice to remain on the show.
The guidelines and overall concept of the show take a back seat when a contestant’s mental health or well-being is at stake.

Natalie had previously expressed a desire to leave during the first dinner, but was persuaded to stay at least until the next commitment ceremony to fulfill her role in the show’s story.
However, when it became clear that she would have to stay another week, production management intervened.
It was noted that participating in the show is inherently challenging, but given Natalie’s recent personal loss and her emotional state, continuing with the show would have been unreasonable.
