Jesse Lingard shows his goalscoring prowess during FC Seoul training as he nears a return to first-team football after a 10-month absence
Jesse Lingard has impressed early on in training with FC Seoul, with the former England star sharing clips of himself scoring a number of stunning goals.
Lingard, 31, completed a shock move to the South Korean outfit last week, signing a two-year contract with the option of a third.
It followed a long spell without a club after he left Nottingham Forest at the end of last season, although Mail Sport reported Lingard had offers from as many as 26 teams from all over the worldincluding FC Seoul and Lazio.
Lingard trained with West Ham and Al-Ettifaq for a while, but no contract materialized, before moving to the K-League as he looked to relaunch his career.
And in his early sessions at FC Seoul, the 32-man England international has shown he still has plenty to offer.

On his Instagram Story, Lingard shared several clips and photos from his new life in Asia.
This included photos of him mingling with his new teammates, while he also shared two videos of himself scoring goals in training.
In one, Lingard received the ball on the edge of the penalty area before curling an effort in off the crossbar.
Within a second, Lingard took a touch and then fired the ball home on the half-volley, giving the keeper no chance before nonchalantly walking away.
After the move was confirmed last Wednesday, Lingard said: ‘New beginnings! I’m so excited to finally get back on the field and do what I love most.
“I’m so grateful for the love and support in South Korea, @FC Seoul.”
In a separate video on the club’s Instagram, the ex-Man United striker said: ‘My dream as a young child was to play in the Premier League and I have always worked hard to achieve that goal. I have always wanted different challenges to create new memories in my career and I believe South Korea is the place for that. Jesse Lingard is at FC Seoul.’
Speaking at a press conference, Lingard added: ‘I’m very excited. It’s a new challenge. I have accepted it, I am here and I am ready to embrace the culture. It’s a new beginning for me, a new chapter in my career. I just want to enjoy playing football again, put a smile on people’s faces and show Korean fans what I can do

The former Man United star also revealed that he had ‘had multiple offers’ over the past seven months. He added: ‘When FC Seoul came into the equation, the commitment they showed, they came to Manchester to watch me train.
“They came up with the contract on paper, so I think the club’s commitment is really in my mind. I had already thought about where I wanted to go, because, as I said, there were several offers, they were all verbal offers, but FC Seoul’s commitment showed how much interest they had and how much they wanted me to join the club, so it was only right that I paid that back and came to the club.”
FC Seoul is a six-time winner of the K League, although it finished seventh in the top flight last season.
They start their 2024 season with a match against Gwangju FC on March 2 and Lingard hopes to build up his fitness in the meantime with some pre-season friendlies.
