Camera shy Leonardo DiCaprio is seen ducking his head and wiping his nose in Super Bowl suite

Camera-shy Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted bowing his head and wiping his nose in his Super Bowl suite ahead of the Chief’s sensational win on Sunday.

As the big screen panned to celebrities waiting for the game, DiCaprio was barely recognizable as he wore a baseball hat that covered his face and pulled on his nose.

The 49-year-old actor lowered his head to the table as the camera came his way – as if he didn’t want to be noticed – before the broadcast went to someone else.

His friends, who were sitting next to him, laughed as DiCaprio tried to divert attention.

People online laughed at the hilarious situation. One person wrote: “They did him dirty for this,” while another said: “Can’t anyone just have a booger these days.”

Another wrote: ‘Leo look up, you’re on camera,’ while a fourth said: ‘The cold indoor climate must have given him the sniffles.’

Meanwhile, DiCaprio’s presence at Sunday’s Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas also provided plenty of jokes on Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants-themed stream for the big game.

The children’s network had a special commentary stream featuring the voices of characters SpongeBob and Patrick Star as they watched the gridiron battle between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

At one point, the camera panned to the Oscar winner, 49, who was seen playing with friend Tobey Maguire, 48, when the ball was placed on the 25-yard line following a touchback.

The SpongeBob character said, “Leonardo DiCaprio, 25 — that’s his dating history,” referring to the Titanic actor’s penchant for dating women in their early to mid-20s.

The joke was a hit with social media users, many of whom took to Twitter to express their amusement about it.

“There was no way the Nickelodeon broadcast showed Leonardo DiCaprio and Spongebob just said ‘What’s funnier than 24.. 25… that refers to his dating history’ BRO HAHAH,” one user said.

One viewer said, “My only real exposure to the Super Bowl this year was Patrick Star roasting a clumsy play and SpongeBob roasting Leonardo DiCaprio.”

Another described the situation: “They turned the camera to Leonardo Dicaprio and SpongeBob said he doesn’t date women over 25????????????????”

One user said: ‘SpongeBob with commentary shots was NOT on my #SuperBowl bingo card.’
