Goldie Hawn celebrates her and Kurt Russell’s beloved dog appearing in his very first Super Bowl commercial with daughter Kate Hudson: ‘Oh my God!’

Kate Hudson and her mother Goldie Hawn’s family dog, Roy, outshined both actresses on Sunday when he made her television debut during the Super Bowl.

Although the dog is surrounded by some of Hollywood’s biggest stars on a daily basis, the Almost Famous star, 44, and Oscar winner, 78, couldn’t help but marvel at his cameo in Budweiser’s “Old-School Delivery” commercial.

Seeing their pup in the commercial, Hudson filmed her loved ones congratulating the adorable Labrador Retriever on his breakout role.

“Oh my God, Roy!” Hudson exclaimed in an Instagram video, which showed her three-year-old daughter, Rani Rose, rushing to pet the pooch.

“There are a lot of actors in this family, but tonight there was only one star,” Hudson captioned the video.

Hawn’s husband, Kurt Russell, best known for his action dramas, could be heard hilariously telling Roy that he was being seen successfully “in front of more people than any actor” in their family at the same time.

Hawn also admitted that seeing their dog on TV was the highlight of the game.

“Don’t get me wrong, I love watching football, but tonight was all about watching our dog Roy Hawn Russell in his first Super Bowl commercial,” she admitted to her 3.7 million Instagram followers.

She also wrote on her Instagram Story that she was “so proud of our boy Roy.”

During the commercial, Roy led a team of Clydesdale horses through the snow to a bar without power as the animals prepared to deliver Budweiser beer.

In a statement about the ad, Kristina Punwani, chief marketing officer at Budweiser USA, explained: “Budweiser has been synonymous with the Super Bowl for decades, and the broadcast remains a very special moment for our brand and a core pillar of our advertising strategy.”

“This year, we’re excited to bring our fans a piece of the traditional Super Bowl entertainment they know and love from Budweiser: the iconic Clydesdales. “We knew there was no better way to show Budweiser’s continued commitment to its fans than with our biggest celebrities,” she continued.

The Hudson family is filled with actors, including Kate’s brother Oliver Hudson, 47, best known for his roles in Nashville and Scream Queens.

Kate and Oliver’s estranged father, Bill Hudson, a musician and actor, is also in the entertainment industry.

Additionally, Kate’s fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, is a singer and guitarist.
