Who can you keep an eye out for on the field?
For those who may not be big fans of the NFL but need a few talking points during the game, the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl for the second time in the last five seasons.
The Chiefs are led by future quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce, both of whom won the Super Bowl last year and defeated the 49ers in the 2020 Super Bowl.
The 49ers feature all-star running back Christian McCaffrey and surprise quarterback Brock Purdy, who was nicknamed “Mr. Irrelevant” because he was picked last in the 2022 draft but has since blossomed into a star.
Bookmakers are tipping the 49ers to take home the Lombardi Trophy this year after being the team to beat all season while the Chiefs struggled for form.
Fans can also expect to see a glimpse of megastar Taylor Swift (pictured) cheering on her friend and Chiefs player Travis Kelce
Who will headline the halftime show?
Eight-time Grammy Award winner Usher will headline the halftime show, but surprise guests can always be expected.
His hit ‘Yeah!’ is tipped as the show’s opening song.
Although this is Usher’s first time headlining the festivities, he appeared on stage in 2011 with the Black Eyed Peas as a surprise guest.
When does the halftime show start?
The halftime show is expected to start around noon, but may be subject to change given the length of the first half.
The show is expected to last approximately 30 minutes, with Usher only on stage for approximately 13 minutes.
