In 2008 she fulfilled her dream of owning a zoo by buying Manor House Wildlife Park in Pembrokeshire for £1 million for TV show Chaos At The Zoo.
It came after she split from husband Colin MacDougall, the father of her two daughters, Bibi Belle and Dixie Dot.
She said at the time: ‘The stresses, strains and costs of running our wildlife park have destroyed our marriage. I’m moving the stock to France, and I’m getting divorced.
‘I can still think about the beautiful landscape and nature of Wales. I had the best times there, but they became the hardest times. We had so much work to do that we never saw each other.
‘I have to start all over again with nothing and that’s scary. I’m older and wiser, but I’ve lost a little bit of confidence.’
