Shocking moment Today show weather presenter Tim Davies is left red-faced as his trousers get pulled down on live TV

Tim Davies was left very red-faced as he had his trousers pulled down in a shocking moment live on television.

The 40-year-old Today Show weather presenter hosted his live cross from the Gold Coast on Friday morning, where he spoke to a group of locals about Ian Grace’s call to ban thong bikinis.

Gold Coast resident Ian recently sparked outrage after writing a letter calling for bikinis to be banned on Australian beaches because they made him feel ‘uncomfortable’.

A group of residents have responded to his controversial call with their own #It’sPeachy campaign, as they gathered on the beach in thong swimwear in protest.

In a very embarrassing moment, one of the women, named Bianca, tried to implicate Tim and unexpectedly ‘dack’ him, much to his horror.

Two women, Bianca and Rebecca, spoke on behalf of the group as they energetically told Tim why they disagree with a ban on string bikinis on Gold Coast beaches.

Bianca said: ‘This is the Gold Coast, this is the land of the G-string!’

Rebecca added: “I think the conversation is so much broader. He raised the children and our young girls in the society. We have to teach them what is and is not allowed, but that starts at home, and a ban on bikini blankets would never be the solution!’

Bianca then started a chant saying, “What do we want to free?” with the group responding, “The peach,” before saying, “When do we want to free it?”, while the others said, “Now!” sang.

As Tim turned to talk to co-presenters Sarah Abo and Karl Stefanovic in the studio, a woman named Bianca unexpectedly pulled down his shorts, leaving the presenter very red-faced.

Tim protected his modesty and said, “Woah, hey, hey, hey!” Jesus Bianca, you will free more than the peach, my goodness!'

Sarah looked completely shocked as she said, “Oh dear, oh dear, I think you need to repurpose that cowboy hat Tim!” while Karl pretended to read the newspaper.

An embarrassed Tim then said: ‘Jesus, it’s pretty dangerous around Bianca, my goodness. Freed more than just the peach this morning!’

He then tried to recover from the shocking joke when he asked the group to give “big waves” to the cameras and ended the segment.

The G-string bikini segment comes after Ian Grace recently wrote a letter calling for the bikinis to be banned from Australian beaches.

The founder and chairman of local charity Youth Music Venture sparked outrage when he said thong bikinis made him ‘uncomfortable’ and said the reason for his concern was ‘protection’.

“I don’t believe young teenagers want to be seen as sexy, that’s just the fashion now,” he wrote, sparking widespread public debate and backlash.

“And I definitely believe the real problem here is the guys ogling the girls.”

“If it is not prohibited on the beach, then it is certainly prohibited as soon as they leave the beach,” he continued.

‘This should certainly not be allowed in public swimming pools or theme/water parks which are much more family oriented. Young children don’t need to see women’s buttocks.’

Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate told the Courier mail he had no plans to ban bikinis from the area’s famous beaches.

“Ian is a brave man who dabbles in women’s fashion,” he said.

“One thing I’ve learned about fashion over the years is that if you try to ban or restrict something, that’s a surefire recipe for doubling its popularity.”
