Kaskade to REPLACE Tiesto as Super Bowl in-game DJ after star pulled out of performance due to ‘family emergency’
Kaskade will replace Tiësto as the in-game DJ for Sunday’s Super Bowl – after the star pulled out just three days before the event due to a family emergency.
The star, 53 – real name Ryan Gary Raddon – will take to the stage for the blockbuster event.
He wrote on social media: “As a kid growing up in Chicago and watching the @NFL Super Bowl every year with my family, this opportunity to actually be a part of it is absolutely amazing.
“Las Vegas has been my second home for the past decade, as the architect of creating a landscape with house and dance music residencies as part of the destination.
“To be the first electronic musician to be part of the full Super Bowl gaming experience in Las Vegas feels like coming home, and I’m beyond excited to represent my community.

Tiësto, who was announced in January as the first-ever in-game DJ for the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on February 11, shared a statement on social media on Thursday

Tiësto, who was announced in January as the first-ever in-game DJ for the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on February 11, shared a statement on social media on Thursday.
He wrote: ‘Me and my team have been preparing for something very special for months, but a personal family emergency forces me to return home on Sunday morning.
“It was a difficult decision to miss the game, but family always comes first.
“Thank you to the @NFL for partnering with us and I look forward to working with them to create something incredible together in the future!”
It is not known who will replace him.
Tiësto was scheduled to play while the players were warming up on the Allegiant Stadium field and during breaks in the game itself.
“I’m excited to be a part of Super Bowl LVIII!” the DJ said at the time. “And what’s even more incredible is that it’s in my favorite place: Las Vegas.
“Thank you to the NFL for having me. I can’t wait to party with you all at the big game!’

The pregame DJ set is a slot the NFL initially began planning during Super Bowl LIV in Miami.
This will be the fifth year that the DJ set will take place during the players’ warm-ups. Recent years have included sets from DJ Khaled in Miami, D-Nice in Tampa Bay, Zedd in Los Angeles and DJ Snake, most recently in Phoenix.
Usher is the big star of the Super Bowl LVIII halftime performance at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday when the San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
Also in attendance at the Apple event were Reba McEntire, Post Malone and Andra Day.
McEntire shall in the meantime, sing the national anthem Malone will perform America The Beautiful and The day will sing Lift up every voice and sing as part of the pregame performances broadcast on CBS.
