Chinese New Year is celebrated by followers on February 10, 2024 – but what does it mean if you were born in the Year of the Dragon?

TikToker Victoria Mayfrom the US, recently warned users born in the Year of the Dragon on her account with some of her predictions @vc.mei.

She believed that this year would give those born in the Chinese zodiac year the opportunity to shine in their careers, and also advised her 79,000 followers against getting married.

But social media users were left confused when confronted with conflicting advice, with some claiming they had heard it was a good time to get married.

In the clamp which has since been viewed nearly 30,000 times, she said: “2024 is the year of the Dragon.

‘If you were born in the Year of the Dragon, this year is the turning point in your career.

One TikTok user said: ‘I’m a dragon and my wedding is this month’ and another said: ‘Some say this year is a lucky year to get married, I’m confused!’

But one user, convinced by Victoria’s advice, asked: ‘Can I renew my vows then?’

This comes after a similar video made by the Canadian content creator @chinesemetlia was published, in which her fans born in the dragon star year had to wear red to ward off any bad luck.

In the 27 seconds clampLia told her 438,000 followers to be wary of the bad luck the Chinese New Year 2024 would bring them if their zodiac is the dragon.
