Mount Isa: Hunt on for killer after death of man, 34, found bleeding out from stab wounds at a property
A man has died after being found with stab wounds on a rural estate.
Emergency services were called to a house on Abel Smith Parade in Mount Isa, north-west Queensland, just after 2am on Thursday to reports of a stabbing.
A 34-year-old man was found bleeding at the scene with life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Mount Isa Hospital, where he died shortly afterwards.
The property has been declared a crime scene while police launch an investigation into the incident.
Police said an 18-year-old man from Mount Isa is assisting the investigation.
