Jamie Oliver reveals his wife Jools has a CRUSH on Elvis heartthrob Austin Butler as he shares their plans for Valentine’s Day: ‘She’s sick of looking at me!’

Jamie Oliver has revealed his wife Jools is in love with Elvis heartthrob Austin Butler as he shared their Valentine’s Day plans.

The celebrity chef, 48, appeared on the Heart Breakfast show on Wednesday, where the presenters quizzed him about what he had in store for the day of romance.

But as he revealed what he was going to gift his model wife of 23 years, Jools, 49, Jamie revealed she had her eyes set on another man.

“Actually, she has a crush on Austin Butler, so I gave her a big photo of Austin Butler because I have to make her happy. She’s tired of looking at me.

“It’s by a great photographer called Greg Williams, so that’s the first part, it’s quite life-size so you can almost kiss it.”

Show co-host Jamie Theakston asked TV chef Jamie if Valentine’s Day is a big day in their household.

“Yes, it is a huge expectation that I am living up to on several fronts,” Jamie admitted.

Zoe Hardman, who filled in for Amanda Holden on Wednesday, then wondered: “Is there the pressure from Jools, what are you pulling out of the bag this year, (laughs) to keep it clean?”

“Tremendous pressure,” Jamie insisted. “Even (after) 23 years of (marriage).”

Jamie went on to say that his plan is to “cook her something nice” and get her some chocolates.

He also sweetly revealed that he would pick his wife some flowers from the garden, before clarifying that might not be possible.

“Actually there is nothing in the garden, so basically it will be weeds and I will think of something else that I haven’t thought of yet,” he added.

Jamie and Jools married in 2000 and the couple have five children: Poppy, 21, Daisy, 20, Petal, 14, Buddy, 12, and River, seven.

In April 2023, three months before their 23rd wedding anniversary, the couple flew to the Maldives with their brood and renewed their vows on the beach.

Speaking about the ceremony on The Graham Norton Show in December, Jamie revealed that the vow renewal ceremony meant more to him than his actual wedding day.

He said: ‘It was my wife’s idea and I thought I would go along with it.

“Saying the vows a second time actually meant more: You earned it instead of just saying it, and I loved it.” It was actually a lot of fun to do, very romantic, and I ended up enjoying it more than anyone else.”

For the special occasion, Jamie looked dapper in a blue blazer and matching trousers, teamed with a crisp white shirt and a flower lapel.

Meanwhile, Jools looked elegant in an off-the-shoulder wedding dress, complete with ruffles and a thigh-high slit.

Jamie later shared photos from the ceremony on Instagram, writing: ‘Good morning everyone, me and @joolsoliver got married again!

‘Yes, after 23 years together, we thought it would be a special moment to celebrate the renewal of our wedding vows before the kids all leave the nest.

‘It was really special, funny and romantic, with the words in the ceremony making more sense because they had come so far together.

‘It seems like a blink of an eye since the first wedding, which we kept very private apart from the paparazzi in the village church which we thought would be a happy and joyful moment to share with you all this Easter.

‘We always dreamed of going to the Maldives and it was exactly as you dreamed, simply amazing! thank you so much to the whole team at @discoversoneva for amazing and making this moment so special and memorable big love guys Jamie x’
