Married At First Sight’s Lauren Dunn and Jono McCullough have had their say about the drama that went on behind the scenes at the show’s first dinner party.
The couple revealed that the cast was given a stern warning by producers for being too mundane, leading to a whirlwind of drama that viewers saw on screen.
“Everyone had a great time and then we got a stern talk about how we had to be real and honest,” Jono told Ny Breaking Australia.
“Soon everyone will just start letting loose, so expect some sparks to fly.”
Lauren agreed with Jono, noting that the initial pleasantries quickly gave way to more intense and compelling dialogue between the cast.

Cass remains furious after Sara bails on three dates with her TV husband Tim, leaving her wondering if she’s there for the right reasons.
“Things were going really well between Sara and Cass,” the insider said.

‘It all started because of a misunderstanding involving Tim. Sara felt overwhelmed by Cass’s sudden outburst.
Known to the cast as the ‘smiling assassin’ for her sly one-liners, Cass reportedly confronted Sara about not going on a date with her partner, sparking a major argument.
The source added: “The tension quickly escalated. Sara tried to explain her side, but Cass wouldn’t hear of it.
“It’s like she made a decision about Sara based on what Tim told her off camera, and since then it’s been constant jokes and snide comments.”
