A controversial Australian influencer has revealed she no longer knows how to wear a seatbelt in a car after getting breast implants.
Christie Swadling, who underwent a drastic breast augmentation in 2019, shared a video to her Instagram Stories on Monday showing her sitting in a car with her fiancé Joel Price.
But there was one detail her followers paid attention to: her seat belt was under her breasts as well as under her arm.
Instead of strapping it over her chest and shoulder like you should, the 26-year-old fitness influencer slipped the entire thing around her stomach.
Fans were quick to point out the bizarre move, with one person saying: ‘What’s with the seat belt? Can’t get in the way of a good boob shot?’

“I guess that’s exactly what happens when you have big tits,” Christie joked in response before later sharing the interaction on her Instagram Stories.
‘(No seriously) but I thought that was so normal. Our seat belt is under our boobs,” she captioned the screenshot.
“Like where do I put it? Over it and then they explode in a crash? In my neck? No, she stumbles.’

According to the New South Wales government website, in the state where Christie lives, a seat belt must be worn tight and low across your hips, as well as across your chest and shoulder.
This ensures that passengers ‘spread the force of an impact across the stronger parts of your body’, such as the pelvis and chest.
Properly wearing a seat belt also prevents passengers from being thrown in or out of the car and “ensures that you can slow down as quickly as the vehicle does in the event of an accident.”
In some states, failure to properly wear a seat belt can result in a fine.
