Australian swimming legend Ellie Cole has shared incredible baby news after welcoming her first child on Monday.
Cole, 32, is one of Australia’s most decorated Paralympians, having won 17 medals (including six golds) at the Paralympic Games.
She retired from competition after the 2022 Commonwealth Games and received a Member of the Order of the Australia award at the Australia Day honors last month.
And the good news keeps coming for Cole after she shared her amazing baby joy on Instagram after welcoming her newborn son with partner Silvia.
“They say when your own child is born it’s one of the greatest miracles you could ever hope for,” she posted alongside a photo of her newborn.

“We feel so blessed: Felix Parker Cole unexpectedly joined our family this morning three weeks early.
‘We know he will show us the world in a completely different way. Welcome to the world, little Felix. All we see is you.”
Cole was flooded with congratulations after announcing her news.
Former swimming champion and TV presenter Joh Griggs said: ‘Oh huge congratulations. What amazing’.
Paralympic swimmer Col Pearse said: ‘I’ve organized lots of playdates with Felix, I’m going to teach him some swear words and how to annoy mum Ellie.’
Cole is considered an Australian swimming legend and retired in 2022

Cole was diagnosed with a rare tumor at a young age and subsequently lost her leg when she was three years old.
