Thiago Silva’s wife appeared to call for Mauricio Pochettino’s sacking after Chelsea suffered a 4-2 defeat to Wolves.

After another disappointing start to the season, the Blues went into Sunday with some momentum, with three wins in their last four league games.

Cole Palmer continued his excellent start in West London by putting the hosts ahead after 19 minutes, but the tide quickly turned and Wolves took control of the match with a hat-trick from Matheus Cunha and an own goal from Axel Disasi.

Silva headed a late consolation to reduce the deficit, but the damage had already been done and The Blues fell to their tenth Premier League defeat of the season.

Before the final whistle had blown, Belle Silva took to social media to call for unrest in her husband’s club.

‘It’s time to change.’ She wrote in a message on X. “If you wait any longer, it will be too late.”

Despite Chelsea’s recent struggles, Pochettino claimed earlier this week that his side would ultimately turn out well, citing Liverpool’s mixed form during Jurgen Klopp’s early spell as an example.

‘In Liverpool’s third year they came to Wembley. We were at Tottenham and beat them 4-1.’ said Pochettino.

‘No one said, ‘Oh, this is the end of the world for Liverpool’. Then look what happened to them: they won the Premier League, they won the Champions League. In the fourth year it started to work.’

Silva’s tweet is just the latest example of her using her social media to openly express her feelings about the state of her husband’s club.

In January last year, when the club lost 1-0 to Manchester City, Silva expressed her disapproval at the booing around Stamford Bridge.

She uploaded a video of herself on social media with the caption: ‘Don’t come to Stamford Bridge if you don’t sing COME ON CHELSEA!!! #blueisthecolour @ChelseaFC @tsilva3’.

Belle Silva had previously criticized Blues fans for expressing their discontent during their dismal campaign last season

Meanwhile, during Thomas Tuchel’s time in charge, she wondered why her husband was not featured in marketing materials on the club’s grounds.

‘Today I went to Stamford Bridge and I noticed the pictures around the stadium changed. But I don’t see a photo of @tsilva3 anywhere. Why @ChelseaFC?’

Thiago Silva’s current contract expires at the end of the season, although the 39-year-old revealed last month that he does not know when he will hang up his boots.

“We know it’s almost over, but it’s not the end yet.” He said. ‘So choose the right moment. I can still maintain a good performance, my grades are good and this gives me peace to continue. Now the future belongs to God.

“Let’s end these four months on a good note and see what happens in the future, but I’m super relaxed about that.”
