The stunning Melbourne mansion owned by AFL big wig Brendan Gale is listed with an eye-watering price list of $6 million – $6.6 million.

Located in sought-after Brighton, eight miles from the CBD, this expansive vintage estate features six bedrooms, four bathrooms and ‘a hidden room’.

The 55-year-old, the CEO of Richmond Football Club, bought the 1,288 square meter ‘Manhattan-style’ property in 2008 for $2.525 million.

Gale later spent a whopping $974,000 on extensive renovations in 2016 designed by prestigious architect Ben Lempriere, reports the Herald Sun.

According to the publication, Gale and his wife Jane wanted to achieve a “New York” feel for the redesign, retaining the historic details of the lavish facility, originally built in 1917.
