Wild road rage video surfaces showing the moment a bloke in hi-vis and a hatchback driver go toe-to-toe in the middle of a highway

In broad daylight, a wild outburst of anger broke out at a busy intersection as bystanders watched from their cars.

Two men were filmed as they waited for the light to turn green on Adelaide’s Northcote Road around noon on Friday.

One man in a hi-vis vest fought with an older man in a black shirt as they exchanged heavy blows.

An older woman from a nearby car got out at one point and tried to quell the anger, but was unable to as the two men continued to fight.

The older man got a head start after knocking the tradie to the ground before getting back into his car.

The tradie did not accept his defeat lying down and quickly stood up to continue to abuse the man through his open window.

After throwing several more punches at the older man, the tradie finally got back to his car and they both drove away when the light turned green.

The identities of the two men are currently unknown and South Australian Police have confirmed they are actively searching for each of them.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
