For England star Joe Marler, there are some items he can’t live without on match day or when touring with England, including a pair of wetsuit gloves and a Bane mask from DC Comics.
England have traveled to Girona to prepare for the upcoming Championship, with Marler one of just 16 players from Steve Borthwick’s 35-man squad to play for England at last year’s Rugby World Cup.
The Harlequins prop was also picked to start for England in their Six Nations opener against Italy on Saturday afternoon.
And Marler sat down Mail Sports Nik Simon ahead of this weekend’s match to reveal some of the interesting items he’ll be carrying on game day

Random, I know. But I’m a big fan of fancy dress and the Bane Mask is worn by a supervillain who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. I plan on using it for a few stunts in our Six Nations camp. It should make for good video content!
Pregnancy pillow
I have been known to steal my wife’s, which was rude when she was seven months pregnant, but I have mine now. It has changed my life with sleep.
Care sets
Four sets of clippers and a bottle of ointment that helps with hair growth. I offered some Mail Sports Nik Simon, but he declined.
