He continued: ‘But Chris is so damn funny and I found I couldn’t act because I just became a Christian and laughed at Chris Rock. So I had to go to him, I went “Mate, I like talking to you, and we have mutual friends, but I can’t do it anymore. Because David didn’t ask me to make this movie, so he just I giggled. He wants me to be Burt, and I’ve forgotten how to be Burt.”
“I often meet these incredible people, but I isolate myself,” he continued. “Because when I get to know people too much, I find that I just don’t believe what I’m doing in the scene.”
Amsterdam will hit wide theaters on Friday, October 7, and the film has a star-studded cast.
