Washington Commanders are hiring Dan Quinn as their new head coach

The Washington Commanders hire Dan Quinn as their new head coach.

It means all 32 head coaching roles in the NFL are now filled after a busy few weeks of hiring and firing.

Quinn has been the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys since 2021, but will now face his former team twice next season.

He was previously head coach of the Atlanta Falcons and took them to the Super Bowl.

However, they blew a 28-3 lead – the largest in Super Bowl history – and lost 32-28 to Tom Brady’s New England Patriots in Houston in 2017.
