Matt Short and Madi Wilson are expecting a baby, as the loved-up power couple share the exciting news in a special announcement video.
Walking along the beach dressed in white, cricketer Short, 28, is seen holding hands with Olympian Wilson, 29, in romantic scenes.
“2 becomes 3. What a journey ours has been, we are excited to announce that we are expecting our rainbow baby in 2024,” they said in a joint post.
“It’s been a whirlwind twelve months and we’re so excited about what the future holds.”
The message caused a wave of congratulations from the sports world.

Wilson’s fellow swimmers got involved and Ariarne Titmus wrote: ‘You are glowing! So happy for you.”
Cate Campbell said: ‘I love everything here!!’ while Mollie O’Callaghan said: ‘Congratulations, you’re going to be a great mum.’
Former Olympic champion Brooke Hansen added: ‘Congratulations mate, so happy for you all – enjoy the wonderful journey of parenthood.’
The pair had previously shared a photo from the Australia Cricket Awards in which Wilson, in a stunning red dress, placed her hand on her stomach with the caption: ‘Mum and Dad’.
Short and Wilson made their debut at last year’s awards ceremony. The swimmer previously had a relationship with fellow athlete Kyle Chalmers.
Wilson made headlines in 2021 when she was hospitalized with Covid-19 while traveling in Italy for the International Swimming League.
