Erin Moriarty made her first public appearance since abruptly quitting Instagram after Megyn Kelly claimed she had plastic surgery to “completely change her face.”
Amid her decision to take some time off from social media following an explosive episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, in which the talk show host, 53, accused her of numerous cosmetic procedures, the 29-year-old actress enjoyed some quality time with her two dogs in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday.
The Boys star showed off her natural skin tone as she took a leisurely walk around her neighborhood without makeup.
For her relaxed outing, the artist, who wore a blue manicure, wore a charcoal gray and white zip-up hoodie, black leggings and a pair of striped slides.

She also wore a dog sling, but chose to carry one of her puppies while the other walked around loose on a leash at her side.
Despite trying to spend less time online due to the “harassment” caused by Kelly’s comments, Moriarty was glued to her phone.
Over the weekend, she responded to Kelly’s claims in a lengthy Instagram post, accusing the media personality of “bullying” her.
“We’ve all been bullied our entire lives, but I’m shocked,” Moriarty wrote, noting that Kelly used an image from before her 21st birthday to compare the differences to her current appearance.
She continued, “And I specifically thought that as I emerged from this period – so stressed that I’ve barely been able to eat and sleep – I thought, OK, I’m going to emerge this 10 pounds thinner and the verbal abuse/accusations are going to fly. ‘
While Moriarty said she expected viewers to suspect she was on drugs or hit her with “a flippant ‘just eat a burger’ comment,” she was stunned by the hostile response that came instead.
“To receive a message about a disgustingly false, counterproductive, in a way ironically misogynistic video of Megyn Kelly commenting on the way (sic) – to learn the widespread nature of this has horrified me.”
Although Kelly claimed in her appearance that the image of Moriarty, which the actress recently shared on her Instagram before deleting it, was from “a year ago,” Moriarty said it was actually much older.

She said the photo was “actually taken about ten years ago before I was of legal drinking age,” and called on Kelly to “maybe do some research that would take 30 seconds.”
“It’s appalling how completely uninformed, inaccurate and clickbait-seeking the people we follow and consider informed are,” Moriarty said in the angry post, which contained a number of grammatical errors.
Moriarty, who has 1.9 million Instagram followers, deleted all her posts except for her statement about Kelly.
Her post has received 135,000 likes, including a thumbs up from Chace Crawford, Jack Quaid and screenwriter Eric Kripke.

Kripke said, “I love you. Seriously, they can fuck off… cruelty aside, it’s just patently untrue. Be kind, people.”
The comments in question came on Kelly’s podcast with journalist Michael Knowles earlier this month, where she accused Moriarty of “completely changing her face” with plastic surgery.
While talking about Moriarty, Kelly said, “She has Kim Kardashian’s lips. She has made her nose so thin that it now resembles a pencil.’
The podcast host also speculated that the actress got “cheek implants.”
Kelly sparked backlash with a recent podcast appearance, where she said Moriarty “got the Kim Kardashian lips” and “made her nose so skinny it now looks like a pencil”
In response, Moriarty said that the “before” photo was taken ten years ago and that her changed appearance was only due to “contouring.”

“More and more young women are doing this,” she said. “It’s not about an objection to plastic surgery, it’s about an obsession with turning yourself into a fake version of yourself… I think it’s a sign of a mental illness.”
The mother-of-three continued: “It’s extremely disturbing. It’s just a huge turn off for me. I really want to get into the heads of these young girls and say, ‘Please don’t do this.’
Moriarty is best known for her portrayal of Annie January/Starlight in Amazon’s The Boys (2019-present) and for roles in the series Jessica Jones (2015), True Detective (2014) and Red Widow (2013).
She started acting in 2005, when she was just 11, after playing the role of Annie in a 2005 community theater production of Annie.
As a teenager, she made cameos on shows like One Life to Live and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Most notably, Moriarty was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for his starring role in the critically acclaimed film Captain Fantastic.
