Sydney Sweeney is giving away a custom-designed 2024 Ford Mustang GT: ‘My dream car can be yours!’

Sydney Sweeney revealed she’s teaming up with Ford Mustang to give one lucky fan a brand new car she designed.

On Tuesday morning, the 26-year-old Euphoria star announced the giveaway to her 16.9 million Instagram followers, alongside a video in which she shared a first look of the “perfect Mustang,” inspired by her 1966 Brittany Blue Mustang.

‘In my dreams I can imagine the perfect Mustang. Guess what? My dream car could be yours!’ she said in the recording. “Having worked on my vintage Mustang, I know that no detail is too small.”

The self-proclaimed car enthusiast further noted that after refurbishing her own vintage Mustang, she carefully selected the perfect “custom” paint and redesigned the car’s interior with a few “personal touches.”

The clip ended with her teasing that “this car is full of surprises.”

While talking about the partnership with Ford Mustang, Sweeney shared Cosmopolitan that she had “dreamed about this for a long time.”

‘It’s everything I am. It’s a mix between me as Syd, my vintage 1964 Half Mustang that I have, and just putting it in this car,” she told the outlet. So the exterior is Robin’s Egg Blue, also my favorite color, but it matches my original Mustang.’

The two-time Emmy nominee continued, “And then there’s my Bolt Heart logo, which I’m so excited to see a tangible version of. We have my name on the bike, which is crazy because it will be on someone else’s bike too. And then you have the custom wheels, which are actually very close and comparable to the original wheels on my Britney Mustang.”

Her favorite part is the starlight ceiling, which she says she “pushed really hard.”

“That reminded me of being back home, looking up at the sky, seeing all the starlights and just feeling safe. I wanted a car that also gives you that personal experience,” she explained.

The actress hopes the winner will “go get some ice cream” and take a ride in the “spirit of” her.

The competition starts on January 30 and runs until February. To participate, participants “who defy stereotypes to pursue their passions” can share their personal stories on Ford’s Instagram or TikTok channels.

While talking about the Ford Mustang collaboration, Sweeney told Cosmopolitan that she had “dreamed about this for a long time.”

In a statement obtained by DailyMail.com, Ford Mustang Chief Engineer Laurie Transou said: “Like me, Sydney is a Mustang girl.”

Each generation has its own personality, but at their core they embody a spirit of disruption, acumen and undeniable allure,” Transou noted. “Sydney’s interpretation of the Mustang perfectly captures this essence and reflects the expressive and individualistic nature of those drawn to this iconic vehicle.”

In November, Sweeney collaborated with Ford on a workwear line inspired by her 1965 Mustang.

“I’ve always loved Mustangs,” Sweeney told WWD at the time. “Blue is my favorite color, so when I saw its color scheme I thought it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”

The new pieces, manufactured by Dickies, are adorned with a ‘Syd’s Garage’ logo featuring two bolts bent into a heart.

“I was obsessed with overalls and the corduroy hat,” Sweeney said of her two favorite items from the original collection.

'It's everything I am. It's a mix between me as Syd, my vintage 1964 Half Mustang that I have, and just putting it in this car,” she told the outlet. 'So the outside is Robin's Egg Blue, also my favorite color, but it matches my original Mustang'

Sweeney originally launched Syd’s Garage, her TikTok account, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, when she was renovating her 1969 Ford Bronco.

Slowly but surely, during those renovations, she began to realize the impact she could have on other women with an interest in cars, or people who simply love the style that a car like a Ford Mustang represents.

“I really wanted to empower and support women in this industry because it is a male-dominated industry,” the actress added.

Growing up in a family of mechanics and car enthusiasts, Sweeney knows a thing or two about the importance of new items that blend style and functionality.

“I love working in the garage and was so excited to collaborate with Ford on a clothing line that is comfortable both inside and outside the store,” the Hollywood star said of the collaboration.

She continued, “I was so happy that Ford wanted to use car enthusiasts to model the apparel and create content that teaches people how to perform basic maintenance tasks on their vehicles. Being able to take my car into my own hands has given me so much strength – and I hope it can inspire others who may never have thought about working on their car themselves to give it a try.”

Sweeney is best known for playing the role of good girl gone bad, Cassie Howard, in the hit HBO series Euphoria, in which she appears alongside Zendaya and Alexa Demie.
