Comedian Nikki Osborne shares the brutal truth about rich people in Australia: ‘I’m here today to disprove that…’

A no-nonsense comedian has brutally bashed wealthy Australians, insisting that lots of money in the bank doesn’t necessarily make you ‘wise’.

Nikki Osborne, 42, said she is often annoyed by the advice of wealthier people who “cling to the self-proclaimed title of wise” – simply because of their wealth.

“Yes, you clearly did something right at some point to achieve this financial status… but patronizing me… isn’t going to fly… I’m here today to disprove that wealth = wisdom,” she wrote. in QWeekend.

Nikki then focused on baby boomers and joined recent debates about wealth differences between generations.

‘When you bought a house, it was only three times your annual salary, now it is more like ten times a double income. That’s right, both parents have to work now.’

Wealthy celebrities and other successful figures also faced flak, as Nikki claimed ‘the more successful you become, the further you stray from reality’.

It comes after Nikki recently revealed her two young sons were taken from her and checked for ‘explosives’ during a terrifying ordeal at Dubai airport.

She had been on holiday in France with sons Will, 15, and Teddy, 10, before catching a flight back to Australia, and was passing through in the early hours.

‘I handed security our three boarding passes and passports and instead of handing them all back to me, to my astonishment, he identified my two young boys, pointed to them, gave them the corresponding paperwork and then said to me, ‘Lady, you go through the gate to board your plane. Guys, you’re coming with me,” she explained.

Nikki said she refused to leave her two young boys behind, who were frozen in fear.

She added that one of her sons even said “stop them” after being told he would be separated from her.

“I went into mama bear mode and said, ‘Noooooooo, they’re staying with me or I’m going with them,’” she said.

The two boys were then led to an examination room, where Nikki marched behind him.

Nikki noted that only adults were subject to checks, not children, apart from her own children.

The artist added that both her boys were deeply saddened by the incident, with one of them crying throughout the 14-hour flight home.

She ended by warning fellow holidaymakers planning to travel through Dubai, saying she hoped a similar incident would not happen to their families.
