Super Bowl LVIII is set: Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas… after a HUGE night of NFL action decided the final showdown

The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Detroit Lions 34-31 in the NFC Championship after a big 17-point comeback in the second half.

San Francisco is now ready for another matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on sports’ biggest stage in two weeks.

The 49ers went into halftime trailing 24-7 after Detroit put together a stellar first-half performance.

Christian McCaffrey picked up two touchdowns on the ground during the game to go along with 90 yards as he once again proved to be the engine that fueled the 49ers’ offense.

Brandon Aiyuk and Elijah also found their way into the end zone during the second half as the Lions rumbled away what appeared to be a clear path to the Super Bowl.

Kansas City, on the other hand, won a hard-fought game against the Baltimore Ravens in a game with several highly questionable referees that favored the Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were at their best in the first half and Kansas City’s defense was able to do just enough to stop Baltimore’s offense.

Kelce caught 11 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown to once again lead the Chiefs offense throughout the game.

The Chiefs led 17–7 at halftime, and Justin Tucker’s 43-yard field goal with 2:34 to play was the only score of the second half.

San Francisco is currently listed as a 2.5-point favorite over the Chiefs.
