Snoop Dogg reveals the eating habit that annoys him the most as he gets etiquette lessons ahead of his 2024 Olympics correspondent role while ‘dining alfresco’ with Jennifer Hudson
Bonjour world – Snoop Dogg has gone to etiquette school and is ready for the Paris Olympics.
The 52-year-old rapper appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Friday, where the talk show host put him through his paces ahead of his Paris stint as a special correspondent for NBC.
Jennifer contacted an etiquette expert Myka Meier – co-founder of the Plaza Hotel Finishing Program – to help him clean up his table manners and give him some tips.
To set the scene, Snoop and Jennifer were seen sitting in a makeshift Parisian street cafe, about to enjoy a meal while Myka told him how to behave.

The rapper greeted Jennifer with “bonjour,” kissing the talk show host’s hand and both cheeks
“First question: how would you greet someone in France,” the expert asked Snoop – who promptly answered the question correctly – with a kiss on both of Jennifer’s cheeks.
“Bonjour,” the rapper said as he kissed the host’s hand and both of her cheeks, with Myka reminding him it was “the right cheek first.”
They then proceeded to eat a meal, with Myka advising him how to dine like a Frenchman – starting with the proper way to hold cutlery, which in Europe is held in opposite hands as in America.
“If it’s a soup, I’ll grab a spoon, but if it’s meat, I’ll grab this,” Snoop replied, picking up a knife and fork — in proper French fashion — and holding them gracefully above his plate.
“So fork left, knife right,” Myka coached, as Snoop held the silverware.
She then told the pair to hold the utensil with their index fingers outward as they cut their food, and to turn the fork so it points down as you put the food in your mouth.
They then moved on to where their hands should be while sitting at the table.
The Drop It Like It’s Hot hitmaker opted to lean forward with his elbows resting on his knees.

“Technically you’re right, because the hands stay above the table,” Myka agreed.
Good bread is sometimes the best part of a meal, and the etiquette coach then talked about how to properly eat bread — which Snoop says is best with butter spread on all sides, including the crust.
Taking the bread course was how to consume wine. While he pointed out that France has some of the best wine regions in the world, Snoop claimed he could do even better by pulling out a bottle of his own 19 Crimes Cali red wine to enjoy.
“I’m sorry, but this is the best wine in the world,” he interjected, as Jennifer and Myka were hysterical and the audience cheered.
After pouring Jennifer a glass, he also offered Myka some wine and told her he would “let her light up too.”

To wrap up the etiquette lesson, Myka asked Jennifer and Snoop what their etiquette “pet peeves” were.
