First up was surfer Blaze Angel Roberts, who admitted that she doesn’t drink alcohol but took part in the experiment with a bottle of Peroni without alcohol.
However, she was unimpressed with the booze-free beer offering, taking a sip and saying, “that’s disgusting.” Two out of ten!’

‘Oh my god, tastes just like Corona!’ she exclaimed, comparing it to the popular Mexican beer.
Hunter then added her score of “eight out of ten,” saying she was impressed and “would recommend it.”
Family patriarch and legendary surfer Pete Roberts was next, but confessed he doesn’t have much taste for beer.
‘I’m not a beer drinker. I prefer bourbon,” he said, but he chose a Balter Lager to try, which he had never had before.
‘What does it matter? I give that a five,’ he said after a questionable sip.

Blaze’s friend, surfer Joel Herbert (pictured), chose the The Dawdler Low Carb Lager, explaining it was a beer company owned by Sydney band Lime Cordiale. ‘Quite good. Very bigger-y. It’s definitely a bigger one. It’s very good. Give it seven or eight out of ten,” he said
‘It’s a bit bitter, but hey, all beer is bitter. It’s not Heineken and it’s not Sapporo,” he added, referring to beers he had previously enjoyed.
Robert’s matriarch Fee Roberts was next, skipping the beer for an alcoholic ginger ale from Mountain Goat.
‘Oh yum, that’s really nice. I like that. Nine out of ten!’ she said after tasting it, adding, “Just tastes like ginger beer.”
When explaining why she didn’t get an A for it, Fee said, “Because it’s not Canada Club,” meaning the popular brand of carbonated ginger beer.
