Katy Perry looked smart in a knee-length black coat as she shopped on Los Angeles’ iconic Melrose Avenue this week.
The mother-of-one added black leggings, a long white button-up shirt and black pumps.
The Firework singer – who wore alien prosthetics with her fiancé Orlando Bloom at Jeff Bezos’ 60th birthday party – wore her raven hair in a clip and donned black sunglasses as she shopped.
The 39-year-old pop star’s appearance comes after claims she is preparing to release her first new album in four years this year. She is reported to be calling the project the “most personal album” of her career.
“Katy has spent the past two years working on her most personal album yet,” a source said The sun.
“She did it on her own terms and it’s very different from anything she’s put out before.”

“After spending so long on the West Coast of the US, she feels ready to go back on tour,” The Sun’s source said, adding: “The demand is there because she has so many hits, so it taking her show on the road will undoubtedly be a big draw.’
The tour would mark the first time she has toured for her Witness album since 2017 to 2018.
She performed her Play in Las Vegas residency from 2021 to 2023 at the Resorts World Theater. Her last show was in November.
She first teased the new album during one of her Las Vegas shows in August.
“If you can’t love me in my Witness or Smile era, then you can’t love me in my KP6 era,” she teased the audience.
